Guardhouse station

Hardware and software equipment for the guardhouse station (doorkeeper’s house) are standard. The station regulates and directs inbound traffic, and records the departures of trucks. Upon arrival, the doorkeeper usually collects information on the truck, driver, and load and determines the orders on behalf of the truck that came into the company.

The truck can be kept outside until the point of loading or unloading is not available. A guardhouse station can be connected to the various traffic lights and displays, through which the system informs the drivers of the scheduled time and assigned ramps. A guardhouse station can also be connected to a scale that automatically weighs the vehicle at the entrance and again at departure, and warns on excessive differences between the actual and estimated weight of the vehicle.
